Red vs White wines

A gift is not just a nice gesture, but is also a form of communication and wine is probably one of the best examples. But it’s important to wisely choose wine as it points out couple of things: whether you know wine and whether you know the person who the wine is intended for. The choice of wine usually depends on several things: price, type (white, red or rose), origin, harvest and label. So, the question is what type of wine to put in wine present baskets – white or red?

Red wine

The red wine is generally gifted as it provides confidence, seriousness and glamour. In a sense, it has more drama and is simply a classic gift that is always welcomed. Incredible and tasty red wine basket can be a great gift for every occasion. A study in U.S showed that the natural ingredients present in red wines, protects the heart and slow the aging process. Resveratrol which can be found in red grapes, is a very powerful antioxidant that has many healing powers.

White wine

The white wine is no less incredible and is also an appropriate gift for any occasion. It is also beneficial for human health. Recent experiments have shown that drinking white wine in moderation (200 ml glass of white wine per day) reduces the risk heart disease. The only reason why red wine is considered to be more healthy is because of the production process. White wine is made of the soft part of the grapes only, while the red wine uses whole grapes (including seeds and skin) which contain heart healthy antioxidants. Therefore, a glass of white wine is also beneficial for the heart as is a glass of red one.

No matter which wine you choose, know that your gesture will be appreciated. Delicious and beautiful wine basket filled with many delicious treats is a unique way to show someone just how much you cherish them.
