There is a wide range of mini cement mixers on the market from which you can choose. Every mini concrete mixer has own advantages and disadvantages which is why some may be more suitable for certain jobs than others. Two most commonly known types of mini concrete mixers are the battery operated and the electric cement mixer. Before purchasing one, it is important to specify the application you need the mini concrete mixer. If you need it for small jobs, then a mini concrete mixer will be just fine, but for larger construction jobs, a larger cement mixer will be a better option. Since there are various types of electric cement mixers, before buying one there are few considerations that need to be carefully analyzed.

When choosing an electric cement mixer, the size is a very important factor. A cement mixer of a smaller size may not deliver the best results, while too big of a mixer may be a costly and unnecessary investment. Another important thing to consider when purchasing a cement mixer is to decide whether a battery operated or an electric cement mixer is the perfect choice for the job.

Battery Operated Or Electric Cement Mixer?

These mixers use two different power sources. The electric cement mixer needs power outlets for operation, while the battery operated one uses rechargeable batteries that allow greater flexibility. There is also a third type of mini concrete mixer that combines both a battery and a plug-in option.

The electric cement mixer is not as portable as the battery operated mixer, because this type of mini concrete mixer requires a power outlet. But, the electric cement mixer is a more versatile machine than other mixers. Also, these cement mixers are more powerful than the battery operated ones. Usually, the electric cement mixer is used for small scale jobs that do not require a lot of movement.

The electric cement mixer that is also equipped with a battery, works with different kinds of batteries. Usually, these mixers use rechargeable batteries, and this makes them more convenient to use. Portable battery operated electric cement mixer is more flexible, and can be used for bigger jobs and paving projects. There are many small construction companies that use such cement mixers. The electric cement mixer that is both compatible with electricity and batteries, is a more preferred machine among contractors.
